Wine & Dine with Budapest River Cruises

A special time for special occasions - join us for a truly amazing afternoon or evening cruise over the Danube, enjoying Hungarian wine specialties and the beautiful panorama of riverside Budapest. Do not hesitate to have a sip of Hungary and its warm, well-known hospitality. River Cruise Budapest invites you for a two-hour-long programme full of glamour, laughter and romantic atmosphere. The stunning view of the Budapest panorama will contribute to the lasting memories made in Hungary.

It is arguably the most beautiful urban landscape among Eastern European cities. Our meeting point is going to be the wonderful Danube Palace on Zrinyi Street, on the Pest side of the River Danube. While enjoying the atmosphere of Budapest Cruises, you will be surrounded by living history itself; with beautiful landmarks and famous monuments on both sides of River Danube. No wonder the amazing urban landscape of riverside Budapest has been selected to the list of UNESCO World Heritage.

The Buda side is extremely rich in historical sites, starting from the Gellert Hill along with the Citadel and the Statue of Liberty to the Buda Castle district itself. The Royal Palace of Buda has served as a residence during the Hungarian kingdom.

The Royal Palace sits atop Castle Hill in Buda, along with other landmarks such as Fisherman’s Bastion and Matthias Church. The Pest side of the Danube is equally prominent, marked by must-see sites such as the Danube Promenade, the Chain Bridge and the Hungarian Parliament. The breath-taking view of the Parliament is combined with the elegance of the Chain Bridge and the reflections on the Danube. We hope to leave you speechless and make you grab your cameras and smartphones – a moment like this certainly deserves some pictures to your album. In case you wish to check in on social media sites, we offer free Wi-Fi on board for your convenience.

Budapest Sightseeing Cruise takes pride in entertaining guests from different countries and cultures, and it is committed to introducing Hungarian culture itself. A vital part of that culture and a true heritage is the Hungarian wine culture. As part of the programme, you get to taste seven different types of Hungarian wine, all coming from the top wineries. The famous wine regions of Tokaj and Szekszard will be represented. We intend to make sure all our guests find something to enjoy in our wine selection, in line with their individual taste. We have carefully planned and orchestrated our wine menu so you can find anything from sweet dessert wine to merlot and rose all the way to dry sensations such as Cuvee and pinot noir.

To make sure we provide the ultimate comfort, the famous Hungarian “pogacsa” will be available as a snack between two glasses of wine. Pogacsa is a small, bit-sized savory scone in a variety of tastes (potato, cheese, bacon, etc.) To experience an evening full of memories, join our cruise to wine & dine as real Hungarians! We look forward to welcoming you onboard!
